Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico; Olivia currently lives in Atlanta, working as an animator at Bento Box. Olivia majored in 2D animation at Academy of Art University, and has a BFA in animation and visual effects. Olivia grew up watching nature documentaries, which fostered a love of learning about animals.
Olivia was a docent at the San Francisco zoo for five years, where she did everything from leading tours of schoolchildren, teaching visitors about animals via biofact carts, and answering questions such as "how many bones does a giraffe have in its neck?".
Olivia's fascination with animals translates into her work as realistic creature movement and creature design in the same vein as Terryl Whitlatch's work.
